The NHS discussion document says important things about joining up services around people across traditional health and social care divides, writes the director of the Richmond Group.
The Richmond Group brings together a range of major national charities which are all key players in England s health and care system. Better outcomes for people are what matter most to us, so we’ve been strong supporters of moves towards a truly integrated and collaborative approach over the past few years.
As we look back at 2020 and ahead to both the next phase of the pandemic and the recovery beyond it, I think it’s right that NHS England and Improvement should be directing attention to the long-term arrangements needed to deliver integrated care.
