Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal held a meeting on prison reforms at the CM House on Tuesday.
The meeting also discussed the progress on the Quetta Safe City Project.
While briefing the meeting, the Additional Chief Secretary Home Affairs said that provision of health facilities, skill development, religious and formal education and better food to the inmates in all the prisons of the province will be provided under the reform programme for better management of prisons.

A government team and members of the Hazara community protesting in Quetta against the killing of miners in Mach reached an agreement late on Friday night after which the protesters agreed to bury the bodies of the slain miners, which lay in coffins at the protest site.
The decision was announced by a representative of the Shuhuda Action Committee, Agha Raza, at the Quetta sit-in, where Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal, federal Maritime Minister Ali Zaidi, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri and Special Assistant to the PM on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bukari were present to hold talks with the protesters.

Prime Minister Imran Khan reached Quetta on Saturday where he met with the families of the slain coal miners – killed on Jan 3 in a brutal attack in Mach – and members of the Hazara community.
In a video released by his office, PM Imran can be seen interacting with the families, answering questions of the women from the community and showing affection to children.
