Karachi: Lyari gang war commander Naseer Baloch shot dead, say police By Police suspect Baloch was trying to revive the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) in Lyari.  Baloch had a conflict with Baba Ladla s brother, Zahid Ladla, police suspect.  KARACHI: A local commander of the Lyari gang war was shot dead by unknown gunmen on Saturday night, confirmed police.  The incident took place near Dubai Chowk within the limits of the Baghdadi police station, said police, adding that 25-year-old Naseer Baloch was the commander of Lyari s Dubai Chowk area and was associated with the Baba Ladla Group.  Police and medical staff arrived at the site on Saturday night and shifted the body of the alleged gangster to the Civil Hospital.

BLA activists sentenced for bid to blow up gas pipeline - Newspaper

Brahamdagh Bugti, son of late Akbar Bugti, is a proclaimed offender in the case. ATC presiding officer Nasir Hussain acquitted four other accused. According to the court judgement, the convicts had in December 2018 tried to blow up the main pipeline supplying gas to upcountry destinations from Sui in Balochistan. The Counter-Terrorism Department, Multan, had registered a case against the accused and arrested them. The judge awarded 10-year imprisonment each to Ataullah, Dost Muhammad, Sakhi Bakhsh and Saleem, acquitting Belal, Iqbal, Jangoo and Hamal. A police official said the convicts were planting explosives near a canal in RY Khan after midnight when patrolling guards challenged them. They escaped in darkness, leaving the explosives and other devices at the site. After the arrest, the convicts had reportedly confessed to blowing up gas pipelines in past at other places in RY Khan.
