A man stole more than £5,000 worth of van stock and flogged it on eBay for bargain prices when his employer would not give him a pay rise.
Angry at being refused entry to a late-night party in Bangor Kieron Wilson hurled a wine bottle at the front door – and the shattered glass injured a man who had told him he was unwelcome. At Caernarfon crown court Wilson, aged 22, of Brynsiencyn, Anglesey, received an 18 months jail sentence, suspended for 18 months, after he pleaded guilty to unlawful wounding of Robert Boyes. He must carry out 200 hours of unpaid work, with 25 sessions of rehabilitation activity and a restraining order bans him from contacting Mr Boyes or referring to him on social media. Ffion Tomos, prosecuting, said the incident happened last August at Garfield Terrace, Bangor, when a group who had been drinking turned up at 10.45pm despite having been sent a text that they were not invited. Splinters from the smashed bottle injured the jaw, neck and elbow of Mr Boyes and required stitches in hospital. Friends had dragged Wilson away.
