How University of Alabama s spring graduation will be COVID-19 safe

Staff report The University of Alabama s spring graduation ceremonies will feature physical distancing, mask requirements and other COVID-19 safety protocols that were in place for UA s most recent commencement exercises. The graduation ceremonies will be held April 30-May 2 at Coleman Coliseum, according to a news release from UA.  In addition to requiring masks for everyone in attendance, hand sanitizing stations will be provided throughout the coliseum. The venue will be cleaned and sanitized between each ceremony. Each graduate will be allowed to invite up to four guests. Guests must arrive and sit together in designated seating areas. Digital tickets will be distributed before commencement.
