HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) - A slow start by the University of Southern Mississippi and a dominating finish by the University of Alabama-Birmingham Saturday helped keep the Lady Eagles winless in Conference USA.
The Lady Blazers led by 15 points after one period and then after the Lady Eagles spent the next 2 ½ quarters closing to within 69-63 in the fourth stanza, UAB closed out an 84-65 win on a 15-2 run.

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) –
For the second time in three Conference USA game, the second half proved to be most unkind to the University of Southern Mississippi women’s basketball team.
After fighting to get the game within two points at halftime, the Lady Eagles’ surrendered a quick 6-0 run out of the locker room and would not be able to get any closer as the University of Alabama-Birmingham went on to win 85-63 Friday night at Reed Green Coliseum.

William Crowe, DNP, APRN, FACHE Erlanger East and North Hospitals announce three new leaders have taken the reins: Vice President and CEO of Erlanger East and North Hospitals Martha Weeks, Erlanger East and North Hospitals Chief Medical Officer Dr. Monica Jones and Erlanger East and North Hospitals Chief Nursing Officer Dr. William Crowe. Ms. Weeks has worked with Erlanger for 45 years in various positions. She started as a floor nurse then proceeded to management and leadership positions.
