No compromise on merit, transparency, says Governor Sarwar National January 15, 2021 LAHORE: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that corruption weakened national institutions and destroyed the countryâs economy. Corrupt people are the enemy of the nation. The government will not compromise on merit and transparency. He was talking to the media at the inaugural ceremony of the Telemedicine helpline at Sahiwal Medical College and Pana Gah at the District Headquarters Hospital on Thursday. Provincial Minister for Zakat and Ushr, Rai Hassan Nawaz, Akhuwat Foundation Chairman Dr Amjad Saqib, University of Health Sciences Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr Javed Akram and other district administration officials were present on the occasion.

Image Source: IANS News Islamabad, Dec 24 : Pakistan s National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has announced that the federal government will soon make a decision about the availability of a vaccine against the novel coronavirus in the country at the earliest. In a statement on Wednesday, the NCOC said the government was regularly reviewing developments taking place around the globe, including data from phase 3 trials, reports Dawn news. These steps will lead to a final decision about early availability of the vaccine in Pakistan, it said.
