MURRAY, Utah â Two days after a beating in the parking lot at University of Utah hospital, Logan Twitchell suffers only from cuts and bruises.
âConsidering what I went through, right now I feel really good,â said Logan.
The 19-year-old had just dropped off a friend at the emergency room when two acquaintances pulled him out of his car and started punching Wednesday night.

SALT LAKE CITY â A Salt Lake City woman delivering cookies is credited with courageously saving the life of a badly beaten teen.
Late Wednesday night, Rebekah Parke was sent to the University of Utah Hospital to deliver a box of cookies. Instead, she ended up using a stun gun to break up a beating. He was screaming help, they are going to kill me, help me,â Rebekah said.
Rebekah rarely delivers for Door Dash.
Her first order Wednesday included a box of cookies going to the hospital. Yet, while at the front doors, the order suddenly cancelled.

SALT LAKE CITY â University of Utah Police is investigating a series of troubling phone calls placed to three of the university s libraries over the last few months.
According to an alert sent to library employees, the Marriott Library s main information line received one of the calls on the afternoon of January 28.
The caller requested that the library employee look up a book whose title contains a racial epithet, then repeat the title aloud multiple times.

A Salt Lake City landlord â who is also a registered sex offender â has been arrested after he allegedly used hidden cameras to record his tenants undressing, having sex and using the bathroom.
According to police, they found âvoyeurism videosâ recorded over the past several years. And, while most of the victims were young, male tenants, others included âfemales, visitors and even LDS missionaries.â

Chief Safety Officer Marlon Lynch issued a statement saying he would not normally comment on personnel matters, but decided to clarify the circumstances surrounding Chatman s suspension for the sake of transparency.
A lawyer representing former University of Utah police officers alleged Chatman was not certified by the Peace Officer Standards and Training board when he was hired. This is true, Lynch stated, but he clarified that Chatman had one year to become a certified peace officer in the state of Utah after he was hired in February. Chatman was formerly the campus police chief at the University of Dayton in Ohio.
