Mount Union seeks MLK Award honorees

University of Mount Union is seeking nominations for the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Award.
Awards go to a member of the Mount Union community, and to an Alliance community member who best embody the values and principles exemplified by King’s life work.
Criteria for those considering nominations is the nominee’s participation in promoting racial harmony; advocating for social justice; collaborating with groups, offices, churches or organizations; demonstrating sustained commitment to diversity; and fostering inclusiveness and appreciation of differences.

Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) closes out its 2020 Wadsworth Library concert season with the Lempner Duo (saxophone and guitar). Enjoy a program of Christmas classics and other holiday and Hanukkah songs presented in a swing style. Tom Lempner is a member of the music faculty at the Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music, Cleveland State University and Notre Dame College. Adam Sarata is currently the Director of the Summit Music School in Akron.
