Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 3) – Manila Mayor Francisco Isko Moreno Domagoso on Wednesday greenlighted the resumption of limited face-to-face classes for the medical and health allied programs of the University of Santo Tomas.
Domagoso said UST officials met with him to discuss how the school will implement health and safety protocols, manage occupancy capacity, and its contingency plans if ever students and faculty members will be infected with COVID-19.
President Rodrigo Duterte earlier allowed higher education institutions to conduct limited face-to-face classes in areas under general community quarantine and modified GCQ.
UST said its medicine, medical technology, physical therapy, and nursing programs will have limited face-to-face classes, particularly for internship, clerkship, and practicum programs.
