DAR-NegOcc installs 67 Hinigaran farmers, gives gifts to 120 La Carlota seniors, PWDs

December 13, 2020 SIXTY-SEVEN agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in Hinigaran are now cultivating their own lands after they were installed by the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in Negros Occidental-South. In Barangay Pilar, 44 ARBs were installed by the DAR on the 14-hectare landholding formerly owned by Ramon Silverio. Municipal Agrarian Reform Program Officer Emma Annabelle Delmoro, who led the installation rites on December 9, told the farmer-beneficiaries to diligently perform their obligations under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Law. Be a good taxpayer by religiously paying your land taxes and as well as your land amortization to the Land Bank of the Philippines, she urged the ARBs.
