Malaysia should heed a call by the United Nations to suspend the fake news ordinance regarding the Covid-19 pandemic and emergency proclamation, an academician said today.

Phases 2 and 4 of Hazelton in Eco Forest, Semenyih, Selangor, have achieved take-up rates of 40% and 90% respectively since they were launched in December and August 2020.
The 50.26-acre Hazelton, which is the second precinct in Eco World Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld)’s freehold Eco Forest, has a gross development value (GDV) of RM420 million. It will consist of 530 landed homes that come with a linear garden and a 20ft-wide back lane.
Phases 2 and 4 have a combined GDV of RM206.8 million and will comprise 162 Artisan Homes (20ft by 65ft and 20ft by 70ft terraced houses) and 92 Garden Homes (30ft by 65ft terraced houses). Priced from RM598,000, these houses have built-ups of 1,871 to 2,375 sq ft and are due for completion in 2023.

Malaysian Millennial Voices features poems by 37 young writers Malachi.
MILLENNIAL VOICES, published by Maya Press, is a book of poems that captures the voices of the young and the restless. It highlights 69 poems from 37 poets under the age of 35.
“When I called for submission of poems early last year, I wanted to make sure it would reach as many Malaysians as possible,” said Malachi Edwin Vethamani, 65, who edited the collection.
“I had to depend on social media,” said Malachi, a former professor at the University of Nottingham Malaysia.
He is also a writer, bibliographer and a critic and has written a collection of short stories called

It’s a great pleasure to be taking part in Commonwealth Day 2021 with at least a few people around me, even if we are all in masks. The very essence and heart of the Commonwealth is our people to people links, and while we have all got used to virtual meetings, having at least some people together to celebrate this day seems very appropriate. I am relieved that the latest MCO was lifted in time for us to have this event. My thanks to the Royal Commonwealth Society of Malaysia for hosting us this evening.
