That increases his annual salary from $143,221 to $147,761.
“I appreciate and respect Larry Burks for the work that he’s done here, for the culture he’s developed here in West Chester,” said Trustee Mark Welch.
“You’re a community development guy at heart … out there all the time looking at ways (you) can bring more business in to West Chester for the Number 1 reason of creating jobs.”
Burks increase is in line with trustees’ recent decision to limit non-union, employee merit increases to no more than four percent.
Burks increase was scheduled to go into effect April 18; other non-union employees receiving merit raises will take effect July 1.
Lot U: May 3 - June 25
Starting Monday, May 3, the middle level of the East Parking Garage, also known as Lot U, will be closed to vehicle access through Friday, June 25.
Lot T: June 26 - Aug. 12
Following closure of Lot U, the top level of the East Parking Garage, also known as Lot T, will be closed to vehicle access through Sunday, Aug. 12.
Stairwells
Starting on Tuesday, May 4, individual levels of the stairwell will be closed for a week each to complete cleaning and maintence. A schedule for which levels will be closed at which times is forthcoming.
