One Killed And Three Others Seriously Injured In Saturday Accident South Of Denison

One person has died and three others were airlifted to a Nebraska hospital for treatment of serious injuries following an accident south of Denison on Saturday morning. The Iowa State Patrol responded to the scene on U.S. Highway 59 near 25 th Avenue South at approximately 7:28 a.m. The initial investigation has shown that 30-year-old Theresa Mae Denery of Cherokee was northbound on Highway 59 in a 2017 Nissan Sentra, when for unknown reasons, she crossed the center line. This resulted in a head-on collision with a 2018 Toyota Camry, driven by 39-year-old Corina Campa of Denison. Denery was pronounced dead at the scene. Campa and two passengers from her vehicle, 21-year-old Esmeralda Luna and a seven-year-old female, both of Denison, were airlifted by Life Net to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Enthusiasm for Once-Monthly Cabenuva Is High—But There Are Questions, Too

Enthusiasm for Once-Monthly Cabenuva Is High But There Are Questions, Too The landmark U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval of the first long-acting injectable HIV regimen, Cabenuva (cabotegravir/rilpivirine), in January burst open a new treatment door for many people living with HIV (PLWH). And not everyone will even want to make the switch, although clinicians who recently spoke with TheBody said that, at least for the people who’ve heard about Cabenuva, enthusiasm is high.

The decline is concerning to one disease expert, who thinks a number of factors are leading to the slowdown. Dr. Mark Rupp is an infectious disease expert with the University of Nebraska Medical Center and said some of the decline in vaccination rates was to be expected, with older Nebraskans and many others who were anxious to get the shots at the head of the line when the doses became available.
