Isaac Abeita, age 23, a lifelong resident of Isleta, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021.
He is survived by his mother, Erica Abeita; sister, Ashley Abeita and her husband, Eric Cordry; great-grandparents, Barney and Frances Carrillo; godmother, Cindi Dimas; godfather, Jeff Tenorio; and many other family members and friends.
The Rosary and Mass times are pending at San Clemente Church in Los Lunas, with burial at Santa Fe National Cemetery.

COLUMBUS, Ohio The University of New Mexico women’s golf team wrapped up its historic 2021 season on Wednesday at the 2021 NCAA Columbus Regional. The Lobos finished tied for 15th place, shooting their best round on the final day of competition.
UNM posted a score of 296 in round three, just one shot over second-place Duke’s round-three score, and two under Duke’s second-round score. The Lobos chopped 14 strokes off of their first two rounds to finish +8 on the day, +52 overall.
Georgia, Duke, Arizona State, Kentucky, Michigan and Kent State will be advancing to the next round of competition as the top six squads in the regional.

The University of Louisiana Monroe will have four commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 15, 2021, to recognize the graduating class of Spring 2021.
The four colleges, Arts, Education, and Sciences, Business and Social Sciences, Health Sciences, and Pharmacy, will have separate ceremonies in Fant-Ewing Coliseum. State COVID-19 requirements limit the number of people allowed in public buildings.
Each graduate is allowed to have 10 guests. Guests must wear facemasks inside the coliseum and are asked to maintain social distancing from other parties. Graduates are required to wear a solid color or ULM-branded mask.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced that the company will no longer allow customers to pay for cars with bitcoin because of concerns about the cryptocurrency s links with fossil fuels.
In a tweet on Wednesday, Musk, who is also the CEO of SpaceX, wrote that his electric car company had taken the decision in response to the rapidly increasing use of fossil fuels for bitcoin mining and transactions. Mining is the term used to describe how new coins are brought into circulation.
