I remember back in the day when I decided it would be a good idea to learn to skate with some of my friends who already had mastered the art. Well, after I laced up the skates and got help standing up, it took me a bit of time to get up the courage to move forward.
Well, if I remember correctly, I got a few feet standing up, but that was about it. I lost my balance, crashed to the ice, somehow got off the ice, probably with the help of my friends who were having a good laugh, and decided then and there, this would be the first and last time I try to skate on ice again.

A few years before the global financial crisis of 2008, future Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke popularized the notion that the world was divided into trade surplus countries like China and trade deficit countries like the United States. Echoing John Maynard Keynesâs trade destabilization theory, Bernanke argued that this imbalance was a significant cause of global instability. But whereas Keynes saw instability as a normal product of global trade, the effects of which would be mitigated by international financial agreements putting limits on surpluses and deficits, Bernanke laid the blame squarely at the doorstep of the East Asian and German economies.

“Some of my work foreshadowed both the #metoo movement and the last presidential election. Since 2016, I’ve made a lot of work about the Sadist-In-Chief simply to maintain my sanity.
