Thrive: Drop-In Arts Programming for Youth

WHAT Thrive is a new initiative at the Art Gallery of Windsor to offer bimonthly virtual peer facilitated drop-in art-based programming for young people in the region and beyond. Thrive aims to offer young people, particularly 2S-LGBTQQIA+ youth and our allies, a welcoming and respectful (virtual) space to meet, learn, and grow through the arts and culture. Together, we will explore artworks in the AGW’s permanent collection and engage in arts-based activities, as well as having time to socialize and chat with each other. Thrive’s mandate is to create greater access to arts-based learning opportunities and compelling artistic, cultural, and heritage experiences for youth in the region.
