How long does education and training take? To work in the legal department of a company or an administration, completing a two-year technical university degree can be sufficient. An undergraduate degree of three years gets you a license, which can lead to careers as a legal assistant, real estate negotiator, clerk, or police lieutenant. With an additional 2-year master s degree, graduates can become lawyers specializing in public law, private law, European, or international law.
Salary for recent graduates: The gross salary of a young graduate is around $35,000 (€30,000) for a company lawyer, according to the website L Etudiant.
Access Bank donates surgical masks to traders
In continuation of its commitment to support communities keep safe and healthy as the fight against COVID-19 lingers on, Access Bank has donated over 1,600 branded and surgical nose masks to the Traders Advocacy Group Ghana (TAGG).
The donation to TAGG is part of its efforts in sensitising members to adhere to the safety protocols to protect themselves, their families as well as customers they interact with on a daily basis.
In a brief presentation of items at the offices of TAGG, the President of TAGG, Mr. David Amoateng indicated that the items being received is timely as case count for infections in the country keep rising, making it even more critical for members to protect themselves while they try to earn a living.
In the video that is circulating on social media, the Ghanaian man is heard and seen saying that the whole place had been covered in snow like never before and all he could see was a sea of white. He then proceeded to fetch some of the snow from the ground and started chewing it like it was food while giving a commentary on how it tastes amidst laughter. In other news, the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) has directed its lecturers to sack from their lecture halls all students who dress improperly and expose vital parts of their bodies.
The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) has directed that students who wear indecent dresses on campus must not be allowed to attend lectures.
The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Abednego F. O. Amartey, who issued the directive, mentioned the dresses which would not be tolerated on campus to include short skirts, torn jeans and other such apparel that exposed vital parts of the body.
At the university’s 2021 matriculation in Accra last Friday, Prof. Amartey said the directive followed an observation that some of the students admitted in the 2020/2021 academic year wore very inappropriate dresses on campus, against the professional ethics of the university.
