Police are investigating reports of shots being fired at the Briarwood Mall in Ann Arbor.  The police have issued a statement saying there is NO ACTIVE SHOOTER situation at Briarwood Mall, but the mall is closed while they conduct their investigation. Officers are investigating a report of shots fired at @Briarwood mall. At this time there IS NOT an active shooter and we ask people to avoid the area of the mall while the investigation is in progress.   Police are continuing their search for the suspect involved in a shooting that occurred at the Briarwood Mall in Ann Arbor earlier today. The mall is currently closed to the public while law enforcement officers conduct their investigation.

Teen seriously injured in Friday night crash near Hartland Township A 16-year-old Fenton boy was hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash Friday night in Tyrone Township. The investigation indicates another 16-year-old boy, from Davison, was driving a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup truck west on Foley Road when he lost control, left the roadway and struck a tree, according to a Livingston County Sheriff s Office press release.  The Fenton Area Fire Department extricated the Fenton teen from the vehicle. He was then flown by Life Flight to the University of Michigan Hospital in serious condition, according to officials.  Officials said both teens were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
