MINNESOTA Several Minnesota hospitals were ranked among the best in America by Newsweek.
The magazine s World s Best Hospitals list for 2021 ranked the top hospitals around the world, including in the United States. It s the third year Newsweek has published the list, for which it partnered with the data firm Statista.
Seven Minnesota hospitals ranked among the top 200 in the U.S., while another three hospitals were included in the overall list but did not rank among the top 200.
Newsweek magazine's 'Best Hospitals 2021' report is out, and Saint Cloud Hospital is not only among the best in Minnesota, but it's among the best in the U.S.

Holdingford Man Dies at Twin Cities Metro Construction Site
EAGAN A Holdingford man is dead following a workplace accident in Eagan last week.
The Eagan Police Department was called to 720 Vikings Parkway around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday for a medical emergency. A police spokesman says 18-year-old
Aaron Welle was found unconscious and not breathing at a construction site.
Police say there was an electrical cord lying in a puddle next to Welle and authorities suspect he was electrocuted.
Emergency responders began resuscitation efforts and Welle was brought to Regions Hospital. He was then transferred to the University of Minnesota Medical Center for treatment.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) Two fathers and grandfathers connected to one Minnesota family dead from COVID-19 just days apart.
It is the sad reality for a family near Mora. They shared with WCCO the loss they suffered when the state was hitting its peak of the pandemic in November.
“It puts a whole new perspective on life. The things I thought were the worst things ever are just nothing after this,” Chris Joos said.
Chris and Perry grew up high school sweethearts in Ogilvie, Minnesota. Their dads got to talking years ago at their wedding.
