Today s the day kids can now get free COVID-19 testing in Miami-Dade. School Board Vice Chair Dr. Steve Gallon says the school system is partnering with University of Miami Health System to provide coronavirus testing for children ages 4-to-18. The testing will be done through the Health System s Pediatric Mobile Unit which will be parked in various school lots for the next two weeks while schools are closed for winter break. Walk-ups are welcome, but appointments are encouraged.
