Waldo Reads Together is hosting two upcoming online events in partnership with the University of Maine Hutchinson Center, in support of Waldo County’s first book project.
Registration is now open for “Using Technology to Document Racial Violence: On Finding History We Don t Want to Remember.” on Thursday, Feb. 25, from 5 – 6:30 p.m.; and “The Nickel Boys, Historical Context and Contemporary Applications,” on Thursday, Mar. 11, from 6 – 7:30 p.m.

Our meetings will be online for the winter. We will reassess in the spring, when we hope virus cases will be falling and more people will be vaccinated. Belfast, Maine Registration is now open for an online project management program, Practical Project Management, offered March 12, 17, 19 & 24 or May 5, 7, 12 & 14 through the University of Maine Hutchinson Center.
Both sessions of this four-day online professional development program, taught by Angela Wheaton, run from 12:30–4:30 p.m. The fee is $595 per person. More information is available on the Hutchinson Center website.

Belfast, Maine Registration is open for an online professional development program, Career Transformation Lunch-and-Learn Series, offered Apr. 9, Apr. 16 and Apr. 23 through the University of Maine Hutchinson Center in Belfast.
The three sessions, available à la carte or as a series, run from Noon–1:00 p.m. via Zoom. The cost is $30 per person per session, or $75 for the series (a 20% discount). More information is available on the Hutchinson Center website.
