Diego Llorens Rico joins the studio as an assistant gameplay programmer, Rico previously spent five months working as a game developer for Simedis, working on LapEntryCoach, a laparoscopy simulator.
Richard Hayden
Still at Splash Damage,
Richard Hayden signs on as a lead product manager. Hayden has worked as a product consultant for the past four years, and has previously worked at Oneserve, as head of product.
Anthony Kyne
Anthony Kyne also joins, as a production director. Kyne joins from Mediatonic, where he has spent the past two years working as lead producer.

Call of Duty: Warzone enhances its anti-cheat software

Call of Duty: Warzone has banned more than 60,000 accounts in one day for cheating on the video game.
Publisher Activision revealed the game had its own “internal anti-cheat software”, which it was now enhancing following demands from players.
Several high-profile streamers had criticised the battle-royal game for being “saturated with hackers”.
More than 300,000 permanent bans had been issued since the game’s release, last March, Activision said.
Other popular games such as Fortnite and Fall Guys outsource their anti-cheat code.
“We are committed to delivering a fair and fun experience for all players,” Activision said in a blog post.

That winning feeling at the BIBAs
The Be Inspired Business Awards, The BIBAs, has unveiled the Most Resilient Business of the Year category as one of its 18 prize categories which are now open for applications.
The prize has been created to recognise firms who have overcome the challenges which have been thrown at Lancashire businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sue Smith, Director of the Centre for SME Development at the University of Central Lancashire, said the past ten months had shown high levels of innovation and endurance within the county’s companies.
She said: “Alongside the difficulties we have endured as a business community during the pandemic, we have seen a great deal of support within the business community and show of resilience which have inspired us all.

A popular Call of Duty player has quit its Warzone game over claims it is “saturated with hackers”.
Vikkstar - who has more than seven million subscribers on YouTube - said the game was in “the worst state it has ever been”.
Warzone was released last March and has been played by more than 50 million people worldwide.
Activision, the publisher, previously said it has a zero tolerance for cheaters.
UK-based Vikkstar - whose real name is Vikram Singh Barn - explained why he was leaving in a video on YouTube.
The fact players can livestream themselves blatantly hacking with zero repurcussions blows my mind. This guy is 2nd prestige & broadcasts hours of himself hacking.
