Wireless carriers wade into telehealth

A handful of wireless carriers are testing out new telehealth efforts. In the last month, Verizon and T-Mobile have dipped their toes into telehealth through partnerships and acquisitions.
Verizon embedded it into Epic’s electronic health record system, and also implemented a virtual “waiting room” with a pre-visit survey and educational materials. It also plans to offer medical interpretation, captioning and transcription services.

It just feels right that a Derby horse whose name translates to “kisses” has an origin story filled with so much love; love of the horse, love of the sport, and love for one especially strong little girl. When O Besos enters the starting gate beneath the Twin Spires this Saturday, he ll have more people rooting for him than only those listed in the program.
The story begins in 1993 at Trinity Meadows, a now-defunct racetrack located just west of Dallas. A filly named With A Splash was entered in a $2,500 claiming race, and horseman Carl Potts took notice.

UofL Health opened Kentucky’s largest drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination site at University of Louisville’s Cardinal Stadium. The push is one to vaccinate all willing Kentuckians, age 16 and older.

(MURFREESBORO) Community leader Dr. Jim Boerner (pronounced bur-ner), age 69, passed away last Friday (4/9/2021) after a battle with COVID-19. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced later from Woodfin Funeral Chapel.
