Adams Law announced the hiring of associate attorney Joseph K. Hill.
He was admitted to the bar in 2017 and has been an assistant Commonwealth s Attorney since then, prosecuting felonies.
Hill will work in the Covington firm s litigation and government practice groups.
He graduated from the University of Louisville in 2013 with a bachelor s degree and then earned a law degree from Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2016. Hill was student body vice president at NKU.
He is a volunteer firefighter in Fort Mitchell and serves as treasurer of Transitions, Inc., a drug rehabilitation organization.

Cooper Bowman from Rapid City was selected by the New York Yankees with the 122nd pick.
Bowman played two years at shortstop for Iowa Western Community College, batting .418 with 44 steals in 84 games.
He also helped Iowa Western finish runner-up at the 2019 Junior College World Series.
Bowman then transferred to the University of Louisville and played second base.
He competed in 48 games last season and hit .293 with eight home runs and 22 RBIs.
Bowman, who graduated from Rapid City Stevens, was selected 49 picks higher than he was projected.
He said hearing his name called in the fourth round was a dream come true.

Northern Westchester native Henry Davis, who lettered for four years as a catcher at Fox Lane High School in Bedford, was the first player selected in the draft on Sunday, July 11 by the Pittsburgh Pirates in a choice that was a surprise to some.
Widely regarded as the best college hitter in the draft, Davis had a breakout year at the plate in his final season at the University of Louisville, smashing 15 home runs while slashing .370/.482/.663 for the season.
