Funeral Services for Bob will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Devils Lake with Reverend Jim Paulson officiating.  Friends may call at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Devils Lake on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.  Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Hallock MN in the spring of 2021.  Robert H. Moore was born to Hal and Selma (Anderson) Moore on May 25, 1934 in Hallock, Minnesota.  He grew up on the farm and graduated from Hallock High School in 1952.  Bob received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Art Education in 1956 from the University of North Dakota.  In the fall of 1956, he began a distinguished career with Devils Lake Public Schools.  Bob went on to receive a Master’s Degree in Art Education in 1968 and an Art Therapy Degree in 1978 from UND.

Officials, advocates contemplate future of refugee resettlement in N.D. Alexandra Kautzman BISMARCK, N.D. – On Jan. 25, Gov. Doug Burgum announced that the state Department of Human Services will administer the refugee resettlement program after Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota unexpectedly shut down. DOH Executive Director Chris Jones said while the shift was abrupt, the department is working hard to make sure that there is not a gap in required services. He said DOH will work with LSS’s former partners and employees. Jones said he expects that Human Services will help coordinate with another existing nonprofit that will eventually be able to take over the program.

Bahamians continue to perform well in NCAA athletics Sasha Wells. Bahamian collegiate athletes at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I (DI) and Division II (DII) levels continue to put on impressive performances as the indoor track and field season winds down. Sasha Wells continued her impressive NCAA DI indoor run for the Oral Roberts University Golden Eagles when she won three individual events at the Washburn Challenge hosted by Washburn University at the Washburn Indoor Athletic Facility in Topeka, Kansas, on Friday. Fellow Bahamian and Golden Eagles athlete Bradley Dormeus won two individual events and was a part of the winning relay that day. Both Bahamians were able to break facility records.
