The University of Wyoming’s Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute (EORI) contributed to a new, comprehensive status report of active carbon dioxide enhanced oil recovery (CO2EOR) projects in the U.S. from 2015-19.
The report may be found here.
Advanced Resources International (ARI) recently published the report, which provides the first update of CO2EOR project data since the final publication of an Oil & Gas Journal survey in 2014. EORI and Steve Melzer of Melzer Consulting and a member of the EORI Technical Advisory Board were part of the team that developed the report with ARI.
“The Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute is pleased to have been integral in the development of this new report and would like to thank the CO2EOR operators who supported this effort and provided the critical data needed to complete the project,” EORI Director Steve Carpenter says.
