Sarah-Jane Morgan, chief executive Worcester Live, and Owen Harper, creative producer WORCESTER Live has launched Platform WR1 – a new (re)emerging scheme aimed at helping city artists getting back on track during the pandemic. Platform WR1 is an artist-led project for artists, providing free access to venue space at the Swan Theatre Worcester for writing, devising, rehearsals and performance. Artists will be supported in their development journey with tailored professional mentored support ensuring their creative practices reach their full potential. The aim of the project is to nurture and develop a strong community of artists and theatre makers within the city of Worcester and Worcestershire, and to set up a touring circuit for early career artists.
