For World Bee Day, take a moment to appreciate native bees
Honeybees get most of our attention, but there are thousands of species of wild bee species and many are disappearing.
In South Dakota’s Badlands National Park, a brown-belted bumblebee visits a sunflower to collect pollen. Native to much of the United States, this species is a generalist and pollinates a range of different flowers.

Clay Bolt first laid eyes on a rusty patched bumblebee impaled on a pin in an insect collection at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in 2014. Brown and dull yellow with a faded rust-colored patch on its abdomen, the fuzzy, dime-sized relic got him thinking about the species’ precarious status in the wild.

Another all-American brand, Anheuser-Busch, has jumped on the woke train. The maker of Budweiser, among other brands with a robust craft beer collaboration line, has partnered with radical professors in education and humanities at Arizona State University (ASU) to develop and implement a 15-module training program called “To Be Welcoming.” It is based on critical race and gender theory. According to a whistleblower who spoke with PJ Media, an e-mail from “Chief People Officer” Lindsay King announced the program on March 24, 2021.
In the letter, King uses typical language about an inclusive workplace and how diversity brings better ideas. This new curriculum follows “Psychological Safety” training for company leaders designed to “foster environments where our teams and perspectives can thrive.” The overall goal is “maintaining an inclusive work environment, one where every individual feels respected and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work ever

WISCONSIN Harassment, vandalism and other violence targeting American Jews in Wisconsin and other states remained at historically high levels in 2020, the Anti-Defamation League confirmed in a new report released this week.
Nationwide, the ADL reported 2,024 incidents in its annual Audit of Antisemitic Incidents, released this week. The final tally marks a 4 percent decline from 2019, when antisemitic incidents in the United States hit a record-high number.
Of these incidents, six were recorded in Wisconsin, according to the report.
