The Higher Education Department of the Government of Khyber Pakhtun-khwa has notified the appointment.
The notification stated “Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, chancellor of public sector universities, is pleased to appoint Prof Dr Ayub Khan, former dean faculty of social and administrative sciences and chairman, department of agronomy as pro-vice-chancellor of University of Haripur, for a period of two years with immediate effect”.

HARIPUR: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan said here on Friday that India had brought 2 to 3 million Hindus to the Occupied Kashmir in a bid to change its demography.
He said this while addressing students and faculty members of the University of Haripur at the concluding ceremony of ‘Kashmir Solidarity Week 2021’.
The AJP president said that India was involved in acts of sabotage and trying to harm ideological, economical and political assets of Pakistan.
Sardar Masood Khan said that Pakistan should stop the policy of complaining to the international community and showing helplessness, adding it was need of the hour to become the masters of our own destiny.

HARIPUR: Members of the Mashwani tribe here on Wednesday blocked the GT Road in protest against delay in arrest of a teenager’s killers.
The protesters who arrived in groups from different villages of Sirikot staged a sit-in at the Paniyan Chowk.
The protest started at around 3pm and ended at 7.30pm when the police officials gave them assurance about incorporation of terrorism sections in the FIR and arrest of the accused within a week.
The traffic remained suspended for over four and half hours on the road, stressing the commuters out as the protesters refused to disperse till the arrest of accused charged with the murder of Zohaib Shah 17, a son of a former Dheenda union council nazim.
