‘A Reflection of Contemporary Society’
As Publishing Perspectives readers will recall, the Kraszna-Krausz Foundation was formed in 1985 by the late Hungarian photographer Andor Kraszna-Krausz the founder in 1938 of the Focal Press, an imprint of Taylor & Francis/Routledge based in media tech books.
Its 2021 Photography Book Award and Moving Image Book Award shortlists have been announced today from London (May 4). Winners are to be named on June 1 and 3, in association with London’s The Photographers’ Gallery near Covent Garden.

LONDON – The biennial Sustainable Innovation conference is to be held online next month for the first time when it will host expert speakers on issues around sustainability and fashion. Sustainable Innovation 2021: Accelerating Sustainability in Fashion, Clothing, Sportswear and Accessories – hosted by the Centre for Sustainable Design (CSD) at the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) – will be held over seven days from 15–21 March.
A prestigious line-up of academics, innovators and entrepreneurs will be logging on from five continents to present and share ideas on issues such as fashion consumption and the resulting impact on the world’s climate.
