You probably think that this article is about how God is a forgiving God. Though He is, it is not. I will comment, however, that, for us humans, our only hope is that two major attributes of God are that He is both loving and forgiving.
In nine days we will celebrate our nation’s anniversary of achieving freedom. There are all kinds of ways a person cannot be free. You could be held, physically, in a place from which you can’t escape like jail or prison. A person can also be enslaved by her or his own thought processes, often as a result of his or her refusal to forgive.
