Britni Elder
The University of Central Arkansas has hired Britni Elder as associate vice president of Human Resources and Risk Management. Her first day was Monday, Jan. 11.
In this role, Elder will oversee operations of the Department of Human Resources and Risk Management, along with more than a dozen staff members who focus on recruitment, employment, insurance and benefits, employee relations, classification, compensation and personnel information systems. She will report to Chief of Staff Amy Whitehead.

The Fort Lewis College Board of Trustees has begun addressing salary inequities that have developed largely because the college has offered pay increases only once in the past three years.

Gov. Gregg Abbott announced new appointments to both the District One and District Two Review Committees of the Texas Medical Board on Thursday. These appointees are responsible for evaluating medical practices in their respective districts.
Each committee consists of three physicians who are doctors of medicine, one physician who is a doctor of osteopathic medicine, and three members of the public.
