Wing mirror to blame for Harbury teenager Holly Chevassut s death, finds coroner  | Updated: 08:12, 09 March 2021 TRAGIC teenager Holly Chevassut was killed by an oversized truck wing mirror, the chief coroner’s office has concluded. The 14-year-old was walking along Plough Lane – a rural road with no pavements near her home in Harbury – in the dark at 5.23pm on 31st October 2018 when she was struck by the apparatus protecting the wing mirror of a passing recovery lorry. Although she was rushed to University Hospital in Coventry, she died two days later from her injuries, named at the inquest as a traumatic spinal injury.
