(WWNY) - A 66 year old town of Fowler woman was involved in a serious crash Thursday after her vehicle struck a wall and overturned. State police said Debra Day was driving on State Route 58 at around 10:30 a.m., when her vehicle ran off the shoulder of the road and struck a rock wall head-on. The vehicle then rolled and eventually landed back onto all four wheels in the southbound lane of traffic, troopers said.

(WWNY) - A 30-year-old Gouverneur woman is dead following a two-vehicle crash on Route 11 in the town of Canton late Friday afternoon. State police say Amanda Perry died after her southbound vehicle collided with a northbound car that entered her lane at around 5:20 p.m. Troopers say Perry tried to avoid the other vehicle, which was driven by 85-year-old Sally Dingsoyr of Potsdam, but the vehicles collided anyway. Perry was pronounced dead at the scene. Dingsoyr was taken to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, where she was listed Monday morning as critical, but stable. Troopers say she’s being treated for a cervical fracture and internal injuries.

One Person Killed In Madison County Crash Officials in Madison County are investigating a fatal crash that happened overnight. The Madison County Sheriff’s Office says 31-year old Crystal Savage of Cortland was traveling west on Crumb Hill Road in Georgetown just after 1:00 when she collided with a tractor-trailer. Deputies say Savage and a passenger, 29-year old Brittney Casler of Cuyler. NY, had to be extricated from the vehicle. Savage was pronounced dead at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.
