Essex County has set up four sites with a fifth is on the way to administer the Moderna coronavirus vaccine once it gains approval.
“The reason that I wanted to be ready with all five facilities, which has not happened probably anywhere in the state is because of our need,” said Essex County Executive Joseph DiVincenzo Tuesday as he stood in the Essex County College gymnasium in Newark. “It had to be done.
