All hospital equipment connected to the network can be profiled, protected and monitored in one system.
Ordr will look to provide an innovative new Systems Control Engine (SCE) system, to improve the safety of patients by discovering and securing every connected device, including Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), Internet of Things (IoT) and Operational Technologies (OT).
As a result of the deployment, all hospital equipment connected to the Trust’s network, medical and non-medical, can be profiled, protected and monitored under one umbrella system, which can detect any abnormal activity that may suggest a device has been compromised.

A FORMER NHS employee stole a haul of electronic devices from a Southampton hospital. Gaven Vythelingum was branded mean and spiteful by a crown court judge for stealing from University Hospital Southampton. Prosecution barrister, Ellie Fargin told how the administration manager traded in the devices - which were worth thousands of pounds - at Cash Converter and Cash Generator stores, bagging himself a cut-price £1,853. Gaven Vythelingum outside Southampton Crown Court on April 28, 2021 During his time at the NHS, the 36-year-old - who had been working on a fixed-term contract, stole a projector, scanner, disk drive, six laptops, six iPads, and 12 dictaphones.
It had reportedly been travelling west along Town Quay and had turned right into the High Street. And the Nissan van had been going east along Town Quay. According to South Central Ambulance Service, one of the officers in the vehicle was taken to University Hospital Southampton for “further assessment and treatment”.

A police spokesperson said: “The crash happened at 1.44pm and involved a marked police car and a Nissan VC300 van.
