Two people were placed on administrative leave while the hospital investigates how the mixup occurred. An investigation at an Ohio hospital is underway after a kidney was transplanted into the wrong patient on July 2.  Fortunately, the patient who received the kidney was compatible with the organ and should not face any of the ordinary side effects stemming from the kidney itself. The patient who was due to receive the kidney prior to the indiscretion is now waiting again for another kidney.
