SOFIA (Bulgaria), May 20 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange s BGREIT index closed at an all-time high for a second consecutive day, after it added 0.06% to 151.97 points on Thursday.
The BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, was backed by a 0.76% rise in the share price of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT (BREF) [BUL:BREF], which offset a 0.40% decrease in Advance Terrafund REIT s [BUL:ATER] price.
All three other indices ended in red territory on Thursday.
The blue-chip SOFIX index fell by a slim 0.01% to 524.43 points, as financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG] led decliners among its members with a 1.57% share price decrease.

SOFIA (Bulgaria), May 11 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT (BREF) [BUL:BREF] said that its net profit fell to 1.1 million levs ($684,100/562,400 euro) in the first quarter of 2021 from almost 1.2 million levs in the comparable period of last year, due to higher expenses.
The company s expenses rose to 905,000 levs in the first quarter of this year from 731,000 levs in the same period of 2020, due to the higher cost of goods sold, BREF said in an interim financial statement.
At the same time, BREF s revenue edged up to some 2 million levs in the review period from 1.9 million levs in the first quarter of last year.

SOFIA (Bulgaria), April 29 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange s blue-chip SOFIX index dropped by 0.30% to 522.39 points on Thursday, as the shares of Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH] erased 4.14% of their price.
A total of 8,293 shares of Doverie United Holding changed hands at an average price of 5.12 levs apiece on Thursday. Other notable decliners among SOFIX members included Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:CCB] and financial leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:EAC], whch saw declines in their share prices of 1.53% and 0.89%, respectively.
Total regulated market turnover rose to 10.5 million levs ($6.5 million/5.4 million euro) from 790,000 levs on Wednesday. SOFIA (Bulgaria), April 19 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT (BREF) [BUL:BREF] said on Monday that it has sold some 4.6 hectares of agricultural land for 415,440 levs ($255,580/212,410 euro), or 9 levs per square metre.
After selling the land located near the city of Veliko Tarnovo, BREF owns some 10.2 ha of farm land, the real estate investment trust said in a stock exchange filing.
Shares in BREF last traded at a price of 1.85 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
