MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – Now that the COVID-19 vaccine has arrived and centers to administer it have begun appearing throughout the Garden State, anxious residents continue to ask the same question: where can I get my inoculation?
New Jersey is slowly publicly listed COVID-19 vaccination sites. Some are accepting appointments directly, but some are not. But the state has suggested reaching out to those sites and seeing if getting an appointment is possible

HOLYOKE Holyoke Medical Center is on course to open 34 new inpatient psychiatric beds by May, but has asked the state to “put on hold” its plans announced last year for an 84-bed behavioral health hospital on its campus.
“We were supposed to have a final determination-of-need hearing with the state this week, but we asked instead for the state to put a hold on the project,” said Spiros Hatiras, president and chief executive officer of the medical center and Valley Health Systems.
CHARLESTON — The Cabell-Huntington Health Department will set up in the former Sears space in the Huntington Mall to provide more COVID-19 vaccines at a faster pace.
This week, Murphy noted the number of doses arriving to the Garden State is expected to grow. We re expecting increasing deliveries of vaccines from the federal government for our megasites and other vaccination centers, he said. As these deliveries increase, we ll be able to open more appointments and be in position to put our efforts into the next gear.
This news came as CVS and Rite Aid pharmacies began offering inoculations at a select few locations. For their part, Rite Aid directed people to the state s vaccine hub website on Friday, where sites were listed in a number of towns – all of which were listed as coming soon. The company also has a sign up sheet on their website.
