HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) A mass shooting at the Enclave Apartments in Allendale Township has injured four people, one critically, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Capt Mark Bennett.
Police are looking for a suspect, described as male, Hispanic, 6 feet tall, weighing about 225 pounds, last seen wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, and a baseball cap.
None of the victims are Grand Valley State University students, he said, but GVSU police assisted at the scene, and GVSU issued a campus-safety alert because the incident happened close to campus.
Deputies called to the scene just after midnight on Saturday, April 10, 2021, near apartments on the 4900 block of Becker Drive, found three victims, all of whom were rushed by Life EMS ambulance to a Grand Rapids hospital, Bennett said in an emailed statement.
