In a joint statement from student and parent advocates from Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, and Barbados, the group said they still have not received the justice they have been fighting for.

However, some of them at the primary and secondary levels have discovered that they are now getting to enjoy working at their own pace, on strict schedules, of course, and be free from “the stressful environment of school”. Others, though, recounted the challenges of remote learning, from struggling to directly interact with teachers in a timely manner, getting easily distracted, a hectic schedule, to not having reliable internet access and not knowing when completed assignments will be graded.

The global concern is that we are facing the likelihood of losing a generation. I also re-watched a splendid movie, Under the Tuscan Sun, which had a memorable conversation.
