Sophie spent her childhood in the Loire Valley region of France. She grew up in a family that was appreciative of the artistic world and discovered art during family trips. At the age of 12, she discovered and was fascinated by the painting Spring by Botticelli during a visit to the Uffizi Gallery in Florence (Italy). As a teenager, she was passionate about the works of the Austrian painter, Friedrich Hundertwasser (twentieth century). His treatment of colour and his relationship with nature fascinated her, and he became an important painter for her. In high school, Sophie began to participate in art exhibitions and attended the School of Fine Arts. After graduating, she carried out her dreams of travelling to South America. For a year she soaked in landscapes, colours, warmth and then finally decided to stay and live in Chile for 3 years. On her return to France in 2011, she decided to set up her studio in Mayenne (Loire Valley).
