Water was continuing to flow into Lake Brownwood Thursday morning, courtesy of generous rains and runoff this week. According to waterdatafortexas.com, Lake Brownwood was 98.1 percent full Thursday morning, an increase from 92 percent two days ago.
According to John Allen of the Brown County Water Improvement District, as of 6:30 am Thursday, the lake elevation was 1424.76 or four-tenths below spillway and still slowly rising, though the rise is almost over.
Lake Brownwood has benefited from this week’s heavy rain and runoff.
As of Wednesday morning, Lake Brownwood shows to be 95.5 percent full. That is an increase from 91 percent two days ago. It’s an increase from 83 percent one month ago. John Allen, General Manager of the Brown County Water Improvement District, said Wednesday morning that the lake is still rising slowly.
Lake Coleman is 84.9 percent full right now, up from 84 percent full two days ago.
There has been very little increase in Lake Ivie. Now at 60 percent full, Lake Ivie shows a very slight increase from 59.9 percent full two days ago.
