The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries wants citizens to know that spring and summer are perfect times to enjoy our beautiful outdoors, and there are several programs that families can check out for some fresh air and fun. And after being cooped up for more than a year due to the pandemic, we are ready to get outside, y all!
According to their website the Get Out and Fish program provides easy and affordable access to quality fishing at locations close to cities and towns. Through this program, LDWF partners with local governments and community organizations to stock community fishing ponds with adult channel catfish in the spring and fall and rainbow trout in the winter, weather permitting. And the good news is, if you have little ones who are interested, kids 15 and under fish for free.

Australia‘s 501 Deportee Policy
Since 2015, 2300 unlawful non-citizen, native-born New Zealanders, holding temporary visas, with criminal records, have been deported to New Zealand.
It is the result of a revised Migration Act in 2014, to deport non-citizen New Zealanders, as well as other temporary visa holders with criminal records of 12 months incarceration or more. They fail the standard “character test” of acceptable citizens, posing a risk to our society.
These New Zealanders are unlawful non-citizens, holding only temporary visas. This has attracted the ire if New Zealand‘s Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, to the point, that an imminent class action against the Australian Government is in progress, on these deportees’ behalf.
Well, there s no reason to feel left out, even if you re two wheels short of an appropriate ride. Several options are available in the area that will train you to properly operate a motorcycle; allow you to rent one by the hour, day or week; or skip the bike altogether to partake in the off-road aspects of the rally, such as concerts, contests and retail.
