Police to tighten roadblocks from Friday to Sunday to prevent interstate travel, outflow from Klang Valley

The police will tighten roadblocs on every Friday, Saturday and Sunday to prevent interstate travel, which is an effort to stop the spread of Covid-19.
Inspector-general of police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador said PDRM found that from every Friday evening to Sunday, many attempt to perform interstate travel with various excuses, especially those trying to get out of Selangor and the Klang Valley.
He said that while that certain MCO levels allow interstate travel with a permit for reasons such as outstation spouse or sending children back to boarding schools, “why is it that the traffic increases every Friday? Emergencies only happen on Friday?”

The Inspector-General of Police said he had made the promise as the police were conducting an operation to bring Low back but the effort fell through. I even flew to the country (where he was hiding) to discuss with the authorities there in an effort to bring him back. Normally such a request will be reciprocrated by authorities of another country but it was not in this case.

pix) today reminded all politicians and the public against issuing any inflammatory statement on the Kalimah Allah issue.
He said all parties should place their trust in the country’s judicial system in resolving the issue.
“All parties should remain calm and be patient and avoid themselves from issuing any statement that could offend others.
“.we can see that there are certain quarters who are taking advantage of the situation. As a law enforcer, I will not allow this issue to be blown out of proportion,” he said during a programme with IGP, aired live on Sinar Harian’s official Facebook today.
