Apply for Mattapoisett Woman s Club scholarships by March 31

Mar 16, 2021 MATTAPOISETT The Mattapoisett Woman’s Club is offering two $2,000 scholarship awards to Mattapoisett residents who are high school seniors graduating in June 2021.  In addition, there will be a $1,000 scholarship granted to a Mattapoisett resident who is pursuing a post-secondary degree.  Scholarship applications are available in the guidance offices of Old Rochester Regional High School, Tabor Academy, Bishop Stang High School, Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School, Bristol County Agricultural High School, and online at https://www.mattapoisettwomansclub.org/about/mattapoisett-womans-club-scholarships/  The final deadline for returning completed applications is March 31. Old Colony to switch to remote learning on Dec 22 and 23

Dec 21, 2020 ROCHESTER All classes at Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School will be remote on Dec. 22 and 23 as a coronavirus precaution.   In a press release, the school said the move will minimize risk for close contact with any potentially positive cases in the school prior to the holiday break, and lessen the need for last minute notifications associated with contact tracing leading into Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.   For questions or concerns, contact school nurses Lindsay Mota and Deb Levesque at (508) 763-8011 ext. 130 and/or 176, or Superintedent Aaron Polansky at apolansky@oldcolony.info.
