CORAL SPRINGS, FL – A Coral Springs-based student leadership program raised $1,000 last weekend for scholarships.
Project Leadership teaches students in middle school and high school leadership communication, stress management, and other skills.
Since 2003, more than 2,000 students have gone through 40 programs and worked with adult mentors affiliated with the business group, Premier Networking Alliance.

CORAL SPRINGS, FL – The bicyclist hit by a car on Saturday evening in Coral Springs has died, police said Sunday.
The 54-year-old woman died at Broward Health North after she got into a crash with a car at Coral Ridge Drive and Lakeview Drive shortly before 8:30 pm.
Police did not release her name on Sunday.

CORAL SPRINGS, FL – A Coral Springs dance instructor is preparing to compete in the Miss Florida pageant in June.
If you drive on Coral Ridge Drive in Coral Springs, be prepared for lane closures in the coming months as a new road improvement project got underway this week.
And 15 schools serving Coral Springs had 34 new cases of Covid-19 reported among students, teachers, and others between March 28 - April 3.

CORAL SPRINGS, FL – Late one night, Brunna Martins was scrolling through Facebook when she came upon a plea from a City of Coral Springs employee who was looking for a kidney donor.
Something about the man’s eyes spoke to the Fort Lauderdale pediatric nurse.
“He had a kind soul,” she said.
