The Illinois Department of Public Health on Tuesday reported 117 additional COVID-19-related deaths and 7,359 new confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases. The IDPH said Illinois has recorded a total of 863,477 positive cases, including 14,509 deaths. It was unclear how many doses of the Pfizer vaccine – the first to receive federal approval – St. John’s would receive for its frontline workers this week.
