Zoological Society to help researchers publish work

Islamabad : The Applied Zoological Society of Pakistan has decided to launch a research journal to provide researchers with a platform to publish significant scientific work addressing the local issues.
This was disclosed by Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Muhammad Ali during an award distribution ceremony for international conference on applied zoology at the university here on Friday.
The event was jointly organised by the QAU and Government College University, Faisalabad (GCUF) in collaboration with the Applied Zoological Society of Pakistan (AZSP) with an aim to share, exchange and discuss new perspectives about the scientific advancements in various fields of applied zoological sciences.

MULTAN:
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has honoured his pledge by allotting 100 kanals of land for the construction of gymkhana on Matti Tal road.
Commissioner Multan division and Chairman Gymkhana Javed Akhtar Mahmood confirmed the allocation while presiding over the first meeting of gymkhana board of governors on Wednesday.
Furthermore, it was decided to convene the membership registration process after proper registration of ‘Multan gymkhana’.
Speaking on the occasion, the commissioner said that the task of logo designing was assigned to the fine arts department of Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU). He said the logo would be made while keeping in view the culture of the region.
